Mission of the WBNDC
"To promote the economic and social revitalization of West Berkeley, with particular attention to residents who are low-income, elderly, disabled and you, in order to secure a healthy living and working environment for all West Berkeley residents. WBNDC is committed to working in a manner that engenders positive relationships between, and active participation of, West Berkeley residents, community organizations, businesses and public agencies."

The West Berkeley Neighborhood Development Corporation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created in 1990 by and for people who live and work in West Berkeley (Sacramento Street and west). The Board of Directors, elected from the general membership, coordinates a variety of economic development, housing, community participation and fundraising activities. Anyone is welcome to attend Board meetings, which are held on the 4th Monday of each month.
