Things to Do and See

West Berkeley and the surrounding areas are filled with places to visit and things to do. We found the following through the Yahoo! Travel section, and we encourage you to use other links (like Google and SFGate) to find current events and listings.

Berkeley Iceland

For more than 50 years, Bay Area children have come to this skating rink for figure skating lessons, ice hockey games or just to goof around. On Friday night, couples skate hand-in-hand under disco lights to romantic tunes.

Golden Gate Fields

For the thrills of thoroughbred horseracing, visit this Albany fast track, located just five minutes from San Francisco over the Bay Bridge (take the Gillman exit). It is an old-fashioned race track with a modern makeover.
