EAST BAY OUTREACH PROJECT (EBOP)
Based at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. EBOP offers low-cost training and marketing assistance for minority business owners and first-time entrepreneurs in West Berkeley, South Berkeley, Oakland, and Richmond (FASTRAC program). Special one year youth program offers free training, mentoring, and financing

LOCAL ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE PROJECT (LEAP)
Technical assistance arm of the Community Bank of the Bay Targets entrepreneurs in lower-income neighborhoods to establish new businesses and expand existing ones, makes referrals to the Bank's commercial loan programs. Contact: Ed Voris (271-8400)
