PRISON MATCH (MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN)

Dedicated to maintaining the ties between parent and child, despite the stress of imprisonment. Primary task: running a children’s center at San Francisco County Jail at San Bruno where children can visit and play with their inmate parents on Sundays. Provides handbooks on parental incarceration issues for the inmates and their children. Acts as a model program and provides technical assistance to similar groups in this country and internationally. Parenting groups. Cost: Publications free to inmates and their families.
